- It has a long, narrow blade to cleanly cut through meat and a pointed tip to maneuver around bones.
- The blade has some flexibility to make it easy to follow the curves of a turkey carcass or a crown roast.
- The smooth blade will make a clean slice and will not tear the meat. Whereas a serrated electric knife may allow carve quicker, it will not produce the same clean cut.
